Unveiling the Tech Landscape: Insights from Initial Research to Landmark Report

PearlAscent was commissioned by TransformBase to provide three phases of support for the development of their new event. TransformBase was conceived as a one day conference and platform which aims to bring together a broad community of investors and enterprises focused on unlocking the value of emerging technology. PearlAscent’s role was to enrich the content programme and plans by leveraging AI to produce a dedicated report and providing structure and analysis to the research and development of the programme.
PearlAscent started by reviewing the foundational insights that shaped TransformBase 2023 which were achieved by conducting an in-depth analysis of the 32 research interviews from key stakeholders. This review enhanced the methodologies used and augmented the key findings that were to set the stage for a ground-breaking event. By exploring the comprehensive analysis through techniques such as keyword extraction and sentiment analysis PearlAscent identified additional insights from the interviews. These helped to surface key technology trends and concerns that went on to support thematic content and business development opportunities for the event.
Onsite, PearlAscent leveraged AI tools to capture the insights being shared on stage, these were used to produce summaries on the day which enriched social media and enhanced the context of the posts. These proved helpful in terms of engagement, as they extended the reach of the event and demonstrated to sponsors and partners in real time the impact that was taking place in the venue.
Post-event, over 25 hours of TransformBase 2023 content was distilled into an actionable roadmap powered by AI analysis, the purpose was to guide future strategic decisions for corporates, policymakers, and investors. The Actionable Roadmap synthesised these insights from the event into practical strategies and implementation steps that organisations can adopt to harness the full potential of emerging technologies. In April 2024 the report was presented to the DBT to support the government’s work in taking advantage of these emerging technologies and supported the case for the development of skills and the opportunities they present.
